I'm bored, and felt like sharing some more beluga photo bombing pictures. I honestly can't remember which ones people have already seen, but hopefully most of these are new.

Juno (the beluga) couldn't decide if he was the JOP or part of the wedding party. I guess he picked both. Last picture is my FIL playing games with Juno (technically, that mouth opening is a sign of aggression. But Juno does it because it makes small children squeal in delight, and he can hear their high pitched squeals).

Woo, another Juno fan. Have you ever gone to other aquariums and been disappointed? The belugas at SeaWorld Orlando and Chicago's Shedd Aquarium don't even come up to the glass. They just swim in the background. It makes me sad.

Well you need a do over since Juno obviously ruined your pictures and the guests probably only paid attention to him. For shame. When will your PPD be?

@moonlightsilver the only other aquarium I've seen Belugas at are Sea World in Orlando (which I think Juno is from, he's on a breeding loan, don't quote me on this). I always wanted to go to Shedd Aquarium to see the belugas there, but I feel like it wouldn't be the same.

I think it Mystic they interact more with guests since the trainers do some enrichment with the beluga whales in front of that big display area (where you had your ceremony)

Now I want to go to the aquarium!

@Mairepoppy of course he was stealing thunder he's wearing white to a wedding!

Where did you get married? (Obviously an aquarium but which one!) I love aquariums but don't really have any good ones near me. I'd love to visit Monteray Bay.

You are correct, he is on breeding loan. I really hope Naluark shows him how to work his stuff. Baby belugas at Mystic would be fantastic!! And you're probably right about them doing enrichment there. The other places I've been the trainers only do enrichment far away from where the guests stand and watch.

Re: Juno stealing my thunder- That's why I got married there, because I knew he'd take center stage and then I'd have an excuse to do a PPD! No need to blame it on weather or bad relatives, I had a guaranteed show stealer. In honestly, though, my guests did love him and spent most of the time before and immediately after the ceremony focused on him instead of feeling like they were waiting around for me.

Awesome pictures! Were you distracted trying to say your vows and whatnot? I don't think I'd be able to focus because I'd be so fascinated with him swimming around.

I was not distracted during my vows, but I was during other parts of the ceremony. If you watch my video, I probably spend 60% of the time looking at H, and 40% of the time looking at the beluga.

I am from CT also and I love Juno!! I always go to the aquarium at least once a year and I could just stand and stare at Juno all day. Those photos are so amazing!
