Hey everyone!

With the wedding approaching, I was curious to see which weekends were the most popular among us July brides! I'm weird, and thought this might be fun!

    So far 1st, 3rd and 4th weekend are tied. I wonder why not many people chose the second weekend in July?

    I guess that weekend is pretty popular!  Wow!  You're only a month away!  I'm on the 19th, so I'm not far behind you guys!

    I'm 7/6/13 too!!! Totally obsessed with the date....the teacher in me loves that 7+6=13!!!

    July 13th here! A couple venues actually offered price reductions for the July 4th weekend but we have so many people needing to fly in and plane tickets would have been crazy expensive for the holiday weekend so we went with the 13th.

    That's actually the reason why we picked it. Also it's one month one day after our 8 year and half dating anniversary.

    I let my fiance pick the date in July. He decided on 7/6/13 so he wouldn't forget 7+6=13 (He's a huge numbers/math person). Now he doesn't have an excuse to forget our anniversary because HE PICKED IT! haha

    So we had a range of dates to choose from for 2013 5/8/13 4/9/13 6/7/13 (which is his bday) or 8/5 (which is the day before my bday) so we settled on JULY.

    I originally wanted 07/06....(7+6=13!) BUT our venue had booked so now it's 07/13!!! (Simply because the FI and I made our relationship as boyfriend/girlfriend official in July. My fav number is 3 and his is 33....so keeping the odd numbers and "3's" we chose the 13th.....and course it's 2013!!!!!) :)

    FI and I wanted July 13th because it worked better with our schedules, but his mom booked their church for the 6th instead. She said we couldn't get married on the 13th because it's an unlucky day in their culture so we were just going to have to deal with the 6th lol.

    We went with the 19th because it'll give us a one year engagement to the day!  I love how that worked out!

    I am obsessed with the number 13. It's my favorite number. I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. There is only one Friday the 13th in the year 2013, and it is my 30th birthday. The dimensions of the stones in my engagement ring all add up to 13 (center stone is 5.5x7.5, side stones are 4x2.5, which adds up to 6.5, so both of the side stones together make 13.. I swear I didn't do that on purpose.)

    So yeah, we were going to get married on the 13th of whatever month it was a Saturday or Sunday on over my summer break. The ceremony is taking place at 1:00, because that's 13:00 military time. The bridesmaids bouquets all have 13 flowers in them. (my florist came up with that one) Any way I can incorporate the number 13 into the wedding, I'm doing it.

    Getting there! I'm to the point where if it doesn't get done it won't ruin the day or or life together. We have rings, a license and place to get married and tons of family and friends coming - so everything else is gravy! Oh and fireworks, we have those and I'm VERY excited!!
    I do have to write my vows and make the escort stuff, so that's fairly important too - but I've got 5 or 6 days ;-)
