October 2013 Weddings

Hi, I'm new.

Re: Hi, I'm new.

  • Sure, done. Thx
  • Am I missing where you posted the survey?

To answer your two posts about needing help: you should try your local boards for area information.  I am one of two FL brides on here (that I know of, from the people that spend time posting) but I am on the Gulf side and not much help.  The gals on your local board know the area and some brides may linger over there that have already been married.  Those would be the ladies to get insight from for area info.

My next piece of advice is to figure out your budget and then what kind of wedding you and FI envision. Then  you need a rough idea of how many guests you'd like to invite.  From there, you can contact venues and secure something but get to it quickly.  When I visited venues back in October, many were booked.

Welcome to the boards.  Enjoy planning and let us know how it's going.  Please also post an intro so we can get to know you better.
    S'mores. Just S'mores please.
  • Thanks! I don't know how to work these boards yet. Where would I post an intro??
