Bridesmaid dress sites?

Ladies I am having the hardest time finding bridesmaid dresses:-(, I don't want the typical dress for my gals anyone have any sites they have used? I've tried davidsbridal, jenjenhouse, etc, ones that come up on google

Re: Bridesmaid dress sites?

  • Why not give the ladies a color and let them pick a dress that suits them??

If you're dead set on matching, make sure you ask a budget (privately) before picking a dress.

  • Are your bridesmaids local? Go to a bridal salon and have them try things on.

I started out using weddingtonway.com.  It was a good way to get and idea of what my girls (some who were local, some not) would like.

We ended up ordering from cocomyles.com.  They could customize their dresses.  I give them certain criteria based on the options available (length, color, etc.) and they could do what they wanted.  The dresses were really well made, not too expensive (I think around $130) and you can reserve your fabric with a refundable deposit.  We were all really pleased with the results.

ETA:  We didn't go with weddingtonway because the site was kind of glitchy and not super user friendly, but it did serve the purpose of getting an idea of what they liked/didn't like. Also because none of the colors were what I wanted.  Cocomyles will also send you free swatches.

  • I just went to the department store and picked something out.
  • @ moonlight silver- no not all my bridesmaids are local, I have gone to look at shops and nothing stood out.

@ misssunshine17 I'm letting the ladies choose the one they want to wear

@missmack10612 thank you I will look into it:-)

  • If you are letting the girls choose what they want with just a color criteria, then they can go anywhere they sell dresses (any department store or specialty store at the mall, any bridal shop in their own local area). If it's a very specific color, send them all swatches of what color you want so they can match it up when they shop.
