They had to post this at the office

On the bathroom door.   WTF are people doing in there?!

I agree with the sign, but don't offices usually have those super power flush toilets that rarely get clogged unless you want to try flushing your whole outfit?
  • I'm done @ plants. Really?

  • I wish I thought this was wierd.  Sadly, it's a semi-regular occurance at my company where the owner or HR manager have to send out emails reminding us of things like whiping drips off the toilet seat before leaving the rest room.  Our office is in a converted house, and it has the worst plumbing ever.  The toilets get clogged all the time.
  • I used to teach high school and middle school, so I know some of the bizarre things that people (adults or kids) will do in a public restroom.  It's fascinating in a really bizarre, gross kind of way.

    Officially hitched as of 10/25/13

    Don't you work from home?
  • Plants and aquarium gravel?!!  WTF?

And cereal?  Was someone potty-training themselves to hit the cheerios?

Conn, you really need to find out what was going on.

I do.  My friend from work posted this on FB.

FWIW, if you happen to have a 5 gallon bucket filled with water and million-and-ten-hole-punch-dojobbies, the only reasonable way to get rid of them is the toilet.
(they clog drains but not toilets)

I once didn't realize some brat had thrown a huge stack of paper-towels into my bucket (it blended in and it was late) and clogged/overflowed a school toilet that way.

    *sigh*
I had to go and confess to the custodian.
  • @Wzz, I think my company found the crappiest (pun intended) toilets they could.  I remember there always being issues with the toilets when I was in the office.
  • Weeell, if they just flushed non-clumping kitty litter down the toilet, then maybe there'd be less clogging. This tip from a plumber. When he was called in because a cat sitter flushed the clumping kitty litter.

  • Maybe someone was passing the aquarium gravel?

not if you work in one of those super "Green" buildings with the "water saving" toilets - sometimes we need to flush 2x just for peeing.

My mother used to clean a factory with these "super" toilets, and at least once a week she had to be cleaning up the ladies room because women ignored the sign about not flushing tampons and they clogged the toilets.

  • My younger sister used to flush her plastic tampon applicators, bless her heart, then kept wondering why there were issues with her toilet.

  • I guess I'll have to buy a real cereal bowl. :(
