Sandal's Resort Honeymoon

Hello. My Fiancee' and I are considering going on a Sandal's honeymoon. St. Lucia to be exact. I must say, the pictures from the brochure I received are AMAZING. Have any couples been there on their honeymoon, or planning to? feedback would be appreciated :) Thanks!

Re: Sandal's Resort Honeymoon

  • Same here! I have yet to go to sandals. When we went to Nassau, Bahamas (we statyed t another resort) but the Sandals resort looked awesome. When are you going? Which hotel? (there's three!) We are thinking La Toc next july! But it's up in the air. Budget is an issue and sandals seems to not be THAT bad for its price.

I won't be getting married until January 16, 2016! So I still have a while to go. I'm not making an official decision yet because there's still time but at the same time, time flies by. It'll be here before I know it so I like to get my research done and be as prepared as I can lol. The pictures totally blew me away! also, because the price sounds SO much better than so many other places. We'll both be 28 and will be moving in together for the first time. I don't to go super crazy on the honeymoon, going to Europe or anywhere super fancy because it adds up. Power to the couples who can, but I need to be realistic. So Sandal's St. Lucia seemed fabulous!! I'd also have to see if we'd be going in January right after the wedding, (not sure if it's not too warm) or we might have to wait until March or a bit of a warmer month.

La Toc looks perfect. good choice! I was reviewing their honeymoon packages, and they seem very decent. Only thing is, since my wedding will be about 2 and a half years away, I don't think I can receive info on the air fare YET. I hope it's not too bad because I'm in love with that place!

Let me know what you decide :)
  • Yes you have a while to decide!
You guys are a young couple as well. I'm currently 22 and my FI is 23.
We are trying to be practical too - we will see what we can save up till then!

I will let you know what happens!
  • I just booked Sandals La Toc after hearing amazing things from friends who honeymooned there. It's Sandals so I don't think you can go wrong.
  • I have been to all three in Saint Lucia and they're all very different. La Toc is very spread out, so if you're up on the bluff it's a hike to the beach, but the views are beautiful. The water at Grande is calmer than la Toc, and I like that everything is centrally located.
What's nice is that you can hop on a shuttle and see both resorts. I want to say the ride is about 20 minutes.
