India’s Poorest Women Coerced Into Sterilization

This is such a sick/sad situation.  :(  I read things like this and it makes me wonder how women in our country can say we don't have contro over our "reproductive rights."  Last time I checked it's still legal to kill your child, take birth control and no one is coercing you into sterilizing yourself.   Reading this article makes me want to do something to help, how do you help something like this?  What are your ladies thoughts on this?

    It's really so sad. Many of those women had no idea what they were signing up for. I know there are programs out there trying to help these women and prevent the sterilization. I would check with your Church.
