awkward situation w/ wedding crasher

So, my wedding is near the little town where I spent my summers as a kid. Some of my childhood friends are still some of my closest pals. One of the friends from then who was fun when I was 10 years old but not a "close" friend anymore has made a few jokes on FB about crashing the wedding. He just messaged me asking when it is, and a swear he might actually just show up. He just goes, "I was trying to be in the area around that time." I'm not concerned but shaking my head and wondering what's actually going to happen.

    I would not tell him where it's going to be.

    If he finds out:

    The church (if you're doing a church ceremony) is a public place and you can't keep him from going.

    If he shows up at the reception venue, ask the venue staff to escort him out.

    Ignore the jokes unless he actually shows up (don't tell him where the venues are).

    If he does, have the venue staff or a day-of coordinator (if you have one) escort him out.

    He messaged me a few times so I just "bean dipped" him and asked about the Asians cities he was just in.

    he's probably more angling for an invite, but I dont think any of our other friends have explained it isn't a backyard bbq (like most of our parties) but a real black tie wedding!!
