New solitaire

Re: New solitaire

  • I love your Grandmother's ring the most!   It will be gorgeous dipped and will go well with your band. I personally would wear it as is, but I like mixing metals and not everyone else does.  I'm actually considering a yellow gold band with my white gold e-ring.  FI's not so hot on the idea though.

  • @cutiger97 that ring is gorgeous definitely use your grandma's ring.

  • There was a 0.5 carat diamond in there (it's now in my ering). if I could go a little larger, I would, but if not, no biggie. @suzie211 has me thinking that maybe I should leave it yellow gold for awhile. I kind of love them together and the diamond chips seem to tie them together. I can always get Iit dipped later on....

    Still here and still fabulous!

  • @cu79tiger,

that would most definitely work.  Your Gma's ring and your wedding band look great together, I agree the chips do compliment one another.  Awesome!
  • @cu97tiger I'm in love with your Grandmother's ring. If it was dipped again it would be perfection.

  • I think your grandmother's ring is beautiful! You should definitely re-dip it!

  • I think that your grandmother's ring and the band look lovely together! I didn't know re-dipping existed either.
  • Your grandmother's ring is beautiful! I totally agree with PP, go with that and leave it as is for now since you can always dip it later. YAY!

  • That looks great! I'm sure you can talk to a jeweler about what size stone will work. You can try it yellow for a while if you're not 100% sure you want to change it. I'll tell you that the plating process took about 15 minutes and $40 on my birthstone ring and I like it so much better now.
