    Got the tuxes last night! (CHECK) Also bought a portable PA system (CHECK even though it wasn't on the list till yesterday!).

    Down payment to my photographer paid too, and more invitations addressed! We have tracked down all but about 3 addresses, thank goodness.

    I'm also going through all my RSVP envelopes and marking a faint number in pencil on each of them... I saw someone suggest it in case people returned RSVP cards without names, and thought it was a great idea.

    Bought stamps for the outside envelopes today... Ugh 1.12 each! Someone shoot me I couldn't have picked lightweight non square invites now could I ugh.

    I feel so behind the ball on our invites, a graphic designer friend is doing them and she has not gotten back to me yet, but I am sure she will be soon!

     

    We got a lot done this past week! Received the guest book we ordered from Shutterfly (using our engagement photos), the headband I ordered from Etsy to wear with my dress, and our cake servers!

     

    We also made hotel reservations for the night before the wedding (we have a large wedding party and want everyone to get ready together at the hotel the next morning, and thought it'd be the best way to facilitate that), as well as for a few nights after. Our wedding is on a Friday, and we won't be taking a honeymoon until like next Jan or Feb. A few months ago I won a prize from a radio station for a 1-night stay at a resort a few hours from our house, but it's only good on Sunday-Friday nights. So we will be coming home to recuperate on Saturday and then going to the hotel Sunday for a short but hopefully relaxing stay, both have off work Monday, then back to the real world...lol.

    purchased our wedding bands this evening. tomorrow stamping my invites, we got wedding stamps, and also starting to label my jam jars with our stickers that have our name, date, and location of our wedding as my mom has been working hard picking strawberries and making her amazing jam for our favors!!

    Oh no - I forgot to number the back of the rsvps. Ugh.

    However, ours say:
    "Names of Guests" and then a line.  If people miss that and don't fill it out, I'm not sure what it says about them.

    (No "M_________________" that can be easily missed is what I mean...)

    I don't think it will be worth un-stuffing the invites I have already done and finding the matching number on our excel invite list. (Cause the invites are now totally out of order.) Ugh. Oh well! Here's hoping for the best!

    (And that was my weekend progress - started to address and stuff invites!)

    Does working out count as a weekly check? lol. I guess I did buy more supplies for the centerpieces this weekend, but beyond that, I have done nothing wedding related. I should get on that....
