recommend your face lotion please

Hey knotties. . . . I need to get a new face lotion.  Any recommendations you want to share?  What works for you?  It MUST have SPF in it.  It would also be helpful if its something they carry at CVS, Target, Walgreens etc.  I don't have a Sephora or anything nearby.

The one I am currently using is a CVS brand equivilant to Neutrogena I believe, but I feel like it is just too heavy for summer.

  • CeraVe with SPF

Epic fail on my part for not noticing the discussion a few down when I posted this that gets into a similar question.  Sorry!
  • The yellow stuff by Clinique. I used to use Miracle in a Jar by Philosophy but it was so expensive. But I liked that one better.
  • Another vote for CeraVe-it's actually what my dermatologist recommends, but I can get it at CVS/Target/Rite Aid, etc.
  • I use products from Avon for my face...I use the day time lotion, night time cream and under eye gel. They are great! They are also super affordable & can be ordered online and shipped directly to you, instead of using a rep.

  • I have used Oil of Olay face lotion for as long as I can remember.  My Mom used it so that is probably why.  I really like it.  It is not heavy at all and has a SPF.

  • beauty.com and drugstore.com have free shipping over $25, so you could find a lot on there if it's not something a drugstore carries.

I also use the yellow from Clinique and also the Murad acne line!
  • I use Simple brand oil free moisturizer for during the day- SPF 15. It's at Rite Aid/ Walgreens.

  • Aveeno Positively Radiant! It's got spf 15 and it doesn't make my skin oily.

Jergens daily moisturizer for face.  Tinted moisturizer with SPF

ETA - It's called Natural Glow

  • Aveeno Positively Radiant. When I have the funds, I use a moisturizer from Clinique.

I use Oil of Olay too. It's perfect for me, not too heavy but heavy enough to hydrate my skin. It also has sunscreen in it.
  • I use Clean and Clear Morning Glow face moisturizer.  It has SPF (15, I think), and gives my face a soft glow without being too greasy or heavy.  And it's available at Wal-Mart or Target for less than $5.

I use the vitamin c face moisturizer with SPF 30 from the body shop. It comes in a little orange tube but just a bit goes a long way. It's 20 bucks but I always shop the sales and get discounts and freebies with the body shop membership card so I always stock up on their sales and rarely pay full price. It does its job with thr sun protection and it also feels light and doesnt irritate my acne-prone skin. One tube lasts about 3 months in the winter and 2 months in the summer when I have to reapply throughout the day. It is frustrating how many face moisturizers only go up to SPF 15, which just doesn't cut it where I live in the southwest!

And while mine is only at the body shop you can order it in bulk online--free shipping for orders over $50 and they often have online store deals.

The Body Shop also has Groupons offered a few times a year. I love their Tea Tree Oil and when I buy one of their Groupons, I always stock up.
  • I use Exact (Walmart brand) lotion for sensitive skin, I use it in addition to proactive cleanser and toner. $6 a bottle, can't beat it.
