I mostly lurk on here, but I just got the first pic of my wedding dress from my seamstress and had to share 
I am American and my fiance is Indian so I am doing a fusion Indian/western gown. All of the fabric came from India, but it will be more of a western style gown instead of a sari or lengha. The majority of the dress will be cream/ivory with a maroon beaded split skirt/train and accent belt, Here is a pic of the back of the skirt (still a work in progress) and it is exactly what I was going for. I'm trying not to show too many people IRL b/c a) they really don't care haha and b) I want it to be a surprise at the wedding, so I thought I would share here. I hope I attached the photo correctly....
