Need help with ceremony ideas!

This is going to be my 2nd wedding, and also my fiance's.  We are going to have the ceremony at the same place as our reception.  Can anyone tell me what the parts of a civil ceremony are?  I want the ceremony to not just be the vows and then be over.  Thanks!!!

    A civil ceremony can be whatever you want it to be - as long as the officiant guides you through the legally required wording.  You can have a friend do an inspiring reading, light a unity candle, jump a broom, whatever you wish.
