I'm a week and a half out from the big day and I am tying up all the loose ends. I am planning on tipping certain vendors with either cash or gifts BUT I have been using a custom stationary company and they have custom made all of our save the dates, invites, seating charts, etc. We met with her once and all other communication has been through email. Our contract does not include any service charges or gratuity. Do I send her a monetary tip?
Re: Tipping Vendors
The stationary person...no....
Service people....food...caterer....
You hand the tip to best man, wedding planner, or the father of the bride to give out the day of the wedding.
If you want to; sure.
One of our GM helped design our invitations, but I didn't tip the printer, or the company who made our custom t-shirts, or the woman on etsy who made the custom doll dresses for our FGs. I was paying them for custom work. I gave stellar reviews online, but that was it.
