Hi all! Thought I'd introduce myself. I've been a member of the knot for a while, nut have just recently discovered the community msg boards. My fiance & I are in our 30s &we both have children from previous marriages. We met through an online dating site (to be honest, he was the sites last chance for redemption bc I had met some doozies already & definitely did not expect to meet THE ONE on there). Not exactly how I expected to meet the man of my dreams, but life is great at surprising you! It's been a whirlwind to say the least. We dated for a whopping 3 months before he proposed & we've set the date for October 5th. Sooo, I only gave myself 7 months to plan the wedding (what was I thinking???) BUT I've gotten a LOT of ground covered and the event coordinator at our chosen venue has been VERY helpful (couldn't have asked for better service!) Doesn't hurt that my guy is very hands on w/ the wedding planning so I get a lot of help & support. I still have my freak out moments of how much there is left to do & how quickly October seems to be getting here. Can't wait for that day to come but still nervous about it's arrival at the same time
