Veil or tiara?

Hey Lovelies!

How many of you wore/will be wearing a veil or tiara? I wanted to wear a veil at first, but when I tried on veils that would match my dress, I decided that they didn't look right on me. I tried on a few tiaras, and I liked how they looked on me versus a veil. I sport a flower in my hair almost every day, and everyone said that I should wear a flower, but I wanted to do something different for my wedding.

I have also seen some women wear absolutely nothing in their hair.

I'm personally not a fan of tiaras. I think unless you are a princess (like, you know, real royalty) then tiaras can look really overdone and a little ridiculous. BUT, I know people do love them.

I wore a big blingy ivory flower.

My fiancé just informed me that he'd like me to wear a blusher veil so that way he's able to lift it from over my face. So I guess I'll be wearing a tiara and veil now.

That's sweet that you're honoring his request. I wore a think blinged out headband & single tier Veil. With my short hair style a tiara didn't look well and again with short hair and the dress I picked out, I needed a little something extra go with it.

FI requested some type of veil that he could flip over as well. I'm having a pearl and rhinestone placed in my hair. It's nice and light so it won't be a bothersome to me throughout the day.

I just picked out my veil, and I am also wearing a silver headband. They just pulled everything together for me. I think it really depends on what you like and what works with your dress and over all look.

i did both. my tiara was short but sparkly and my veil was single layer cathedral

At the request of my mother who would like me to be more covered up in church (lol), I bought a blinged out medium length veil that matches my dress even though I hate veils. I'll be taking it out after the ceremony/pictures for sure though..... I have a crystal hair piece I'm wearing in my hair after that for the rest of the evening....

I was thinking maybe a birdcage veil. Still not sure on that one. I'm kind of a plain-jane so most likely will just do a pretty clip.
