fruitlands vs. harrington farm

Hi All-
Just wondering if anyone has a sense of the price difference (rental + meals) between Harrington Farms in Princeton and Fruitlands Museum in Harvard for a summer wedding? Are they comprable?
Thanks!

Not sure how much Fruitlands is but Harrington runs about $73 - $77 pp. This is without liquor cost which would add about $20 -$30 pp. Includes linens, choice of chairs (the Chivari ones come in white, black, gold, and brown).
Includes two bottles of wine with dinner per table.
I think 4 passed hor d' oeuvres, veggie crudite, cheese/cracker, and fruit display also, meal, cake cutting etc.

Beautiful venue!! The views are amazing, I'm getting married there in SeptemberLaughing

I love both places!  I think at Fruitlands you can bring in your own alcohol, which could make it more affordable! I know you cannot at Harrington Farm.

we looked at both, and i've had friends married at both! fruitlands is really nice, but their spaces hold a lot less people than most venues... so that might something to think about. i personally felt like after comparing both that fruitlands was more expensive. fruitlands has a 5,000 dollar rental fee for prime time saturday nights, and you have to cater through their contracted people and they estimated about 70-100 dollars per person just for food. harrington was more inclusive, and that 75 dollars per person includes the apps and cake and stuff. harrington quoted me with taxes and everything included 14,000 for food, cake, and rental of the hall on a saturday night and whatever else their packages include. they actually sent me a sample invoice as well. and fruitlands was a lot more piece-y because you have to get all your price info in different places.

oh, and if you like harrington, check out zukas hilltop barn in spencer.. its a similar set up and very nice and i think it was a tiny bit cheaper (specially for an off night like friday, saturday, or during winter)
