Sorry, but I'm far from a troll, nor did I ever start a thread regarding FISH centerpieces. I did however, start a thread regarding centerpieces, which was very helpful, thank you.

For everyone else who gave thoughts/opinions, we met with the caterer late last week and ended up going with the Sea Bass. Supposedly it's a popular fish dish (they actually recommended it to us) that they claim to make well. We have four entrees so hopefully the people who would be inclined to pick the fish entree, will like this. We also have a TON of different fish choices in our cocktail hour from scallops to sushi to salmon.

Where is the Sea Bass from? Isn't there a certain Sea Bass that you're not supposed to eat because it's overfished? I think I saw that on TV once. I just wanted to continue distracting from whatever nonsense just occurred in this thread. Glad you got it worked out, OP!

Even thought I was accused of being a troll for some strange reason, I am still glad I asked, since I am clueless when it comes to fish. All of your responses were very helpful. One less thing to worry about!

Yes, I truely thought it was a troll alt for the next thread down. I'll reverse it, though I know that doesn't remove the point.

@Knotporscha, make sure you catch that point when you remove them in the near future. That wasn't her fault.

If it helps, having unwarrented flags kind of makes you an official Knottie.

If you ever want a good laugh, go to people's profiles and click on their warnings. It'll show you the post they got flagged about. 99% of the time, it makes no sense why they got the flag.

I actually just saw the Fish Centerpieces thread. I haven't been on here in a few days and had just signed on and checked my notifications. Nope... that was not me. I want people to eat the fish, not watch them swim around (or feed them) on their table.

The TOS does have a section that prohibits trolling, so that's where my flag came from (though the TOS is so vague that there are certainly different interpretations).

I really can't speak for motivation behind anyone else's.

I am trying to subtly say that I have no idea why you both are trying to stretch me over the rack on something I've taken ownership for and apologized for.

You can keep treating me like I'm the most massive moron in the entire universe for reporting someone I thought was a troll account (something you both have done yourselves during the kitten incident), but you probably won't have much ground to stand on in the future for getting in a snit about people not taking ownership for things they've made mistakes on.

ETA: Since ya'll are probably both going to make up reasons why I'm utterly stupid to A.) point out that you've reported alt/troll accounts yourselves, B.) Own up to my errors. I'm out of the convo. I've made my peace with Angusaur and arranged to have the points removed, that's what matters to me. You both have fun with your nipple clamps up in here.

Guys, can we please just let this go? I hate when we fight amongst ourselves over stupid stuff. I sincerely doubt Pele flagged Stage, especially after being the only one to stand up for her over the "Karma/Carma" comment the other day and is still dealing with the "repercussions" of having done so.

She made a mistake and apologized for it. No, she shouldn't have flagged Ang for trolling or flagged anybody for trolling. But she did. She fucked up. OK.

I can't speak for her, but I am willing to bet she was just having a bad day and was frustrated b/c she was dealing with the nasty PM situation she is in as a result of having stood up for Stage the other day. I'm not saying that excuses it, but sometimes everything gets a little muddled, you know?

Oh, I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. I don't know if she flagged you on Kitten Day or not. I was talking about yesterday. I have moved on from Kitten Day, and I promise you I didn't flag you on Kitten Day or any other day. I, like you, am a staunch supporter of no unwarranted flags and am regularly paging Porscha when I see them on other people. I realize you have no way of knowing if I'm telling the truth or not, though.

As for throwing it in your face, I think she just meant that Linger did "report" us on Kitten Day, so I guess she is wondering how that is any different than reporting someone she thought was a troll. Maybe I read it wrong, but I thought she was directing that at Linger, not at you.

Yes, Linger, I know you're allowed to agree or disagree with anyone. And I wasn't trying to blame Stage for Pele being a jackass. The reason I spoke up when I don't have a dog in the fight is this:

The other day, I saw LK's comment about "karma/carma" and I thought it was ugly, but I didn't say anything b/c I didn't feel like starting any shit b/c I decided to just ignore her for the most part after her ugly PMs to Stage. I figured if people don't engage her, she will go away. Then, she called Court a racist, and I did speak up. And then I felt guilty for standing up for Court but not for Stage b/c I felt like that wasn't cool of me. So now I see Pele getting jumped on and I wanted to stick up for her so I didn't make the same mistake I felt I made the other day with Stage.

That's really all there is to it.

I'm truly not saying Pele was in the right here, guys. I just hate when stuff like this happens is all.

Well, I did (and do) feel guilty b/c you have certainly stuck up for me a time or 2, and even though I have stuck up for you for other things, I felt like I should have for that one, too. Especially since I turned around and stuck up for Court. Had I said nothing at all, then ok. But I don't like that I defended one "friend" and not another.

I don't know when I jumped in to smooth things over prior to this, so I don't know how that's now considered my typical MO. It seems to me if it was my typical MO, I would do it every time.

I do see what you're saying that it looks like I'm saying Pele was in the right based on my defense of her. I apologize for that. I do think Pele was wrong to flag Ang for trolling. I just also think it's wrong to harp on her about it after she apologized.

And you're right. Just b/c I'm uncomfortable doesn't mean everybody else has to stop their confrontations. I should have left the "I hate when this happens" out of it. You're also right that it might be best to get it out and be done with it. When I fight with people in real life, that's how I prefer it. I don't know why I shy away from it online.

I really don't have anything else to say about it.

I didn't see this before. My husband lost his wallet and is out on a rig with no ID and no money and no way to get any money, so I was dealing with a real life issue that took precedence over my being able to respond right away.
