*Quick Question...*

Married Ladies too..... When would be a good time to start having my paper goods printed? My invites will be mailed the the very end of September. When should I start gathering addresses? I mean folks could still move between now and then. I have escort cards, table numbers and programs to print as well. Thoughts?

I started collecting early when I had planned on sending STD's. I got the rest in May. I sent out mid- June because 90% of my guest list is traveling

  • Girl as soon as possible. You should already have addresses if the invites are going out in Sept.

What 20 said. You need to hit everyone up now. If you've secured the venue you have all of the info you need for the invitations. Just get them out of the way.

I did my menu  2 months before the wedding, programs were designed 3 months before and picked up the week before, escort cards were done and delivered 2 weeks prior

  • Ok, sounds good.  My venue is a new construction and they are finishing up (the address is already on the invite).  I have most of my addresses now.  We will hand deliver most of our local guests invites.

I guess I was kinda nervous about printing like if the time changed or other things changed for whatever reason...hell, I don't know.

I know date twin!  Girl, we gotta get in gear.  I think Im gonna order my invite and my faq cards today.   I will wait to print my reception card.  My designer isn't done with my escort cards and table numbers yet.  Programs and menus I will do last.

We did save-the-dates, so we colleted addresses from people 10 months in advance. Out of our 80 guests, only 4 will move sometime between now and our wedding date. Just to be sure we don't forget, we noted on our address list who we need to contact for an updated address. I agree with @20peals16, the sooner you get it, the better. It's not a secret that you're getting married and when people move, more likely than not they'll at least submit the address change to the USPS for forwarding.
