My FI just bought some coffee/hot chocolate syrups at World Market for our hot chocolate bar (winter wedding). We haven't even put down a deposit on our venue yet.

Program templates from Michael's. I had a 40% coupon and had the newly engaged I'm-going-to-have-the-cutest-wedding-everrrrrr attitude. We ended up using a totally different style so they are still in the box in my basement.

My dress - found it on sale for $100 at a little boutique while we were on vacation 2 years ago and we knew we were going to get married eventually, so we bought it.

It cost $325 for alterations/pressing/etc, so still a great deal and it's exactly what I wanted.

I honestly couldn't tell you for sure. Yeah, we put down some deposits, but other than that I don't know. We got our rings about 8 months before the wedding, but that was still 4 months after we started planning. So, I really couldn't tell you without doing some hunting through my bank statements.

well technically my dress (but my mom bought that), so for me personally it was an image off etsy I made for the cards I sent my bridesmaids. First item to use for the wedding was our toasting flutes from a day after thanksgiving sale.

The photo frames that our table numbers are going in. I don't even think we were engaged at the time but we had talked about getting married and they were on sale. It made sense at the time.

My hair jewelry. We weren't engaged at the time, but I knew it was going to happen eventually. Even if for some reason it did not, I loved the barrette and wouldn't have found it elsewhere, so when I saw it I thought, "Wow! That would be beautiful for a wedding. Hmm...I'm not engaged. Well, I'll never see it again. Might as well pick it up now and put it away."

Our unity candle--we started our pre-marital counseling with our pastor right away, as my fiance will be going back to grad school soon. He showed us the first time the one that we could get through the church; it was pretty and a good deal, so that took care of that!
