hi all, 

i'm new to this board and want to introduce myself. my name is Christina, fiance is Tim, and we're getting married on February 8 in manhattan. so far we have a venue, caterer, florist, photographer and band. i've got my dress. i've enjoyed planning thus far and am trying to just take it easy and not stress. i look forward to "meeting" other nyc brides and grooms. i'll definitely need advice and suggestions as time winds down!

    Welcome.  Where in Manhattan are you getting married?

    This board doesn't get a ton of traffic, though people check in from time to time.

    Hi, I'm Esther!
    So nice to meet you and congrats.  I'm planning a friend's wedding and know everything there is about NYC.  So, send me an email and I'll forward my # and we can chat.  February is quite cold (though there is rarely snow during this month) and the sun sets early.  So, if you are having an evening event, you should wear a fur jacket and stay near your venue without the stress.

    What is your venue?  Can recommend photographer/videographer, florist & dj if you need.
