I wonder who started the walking arm and arm anyway. I was never crazy about it unless the people knew each other. It's awkward enough walking down the aisle and having everyone stare at you.

ETA: I fail at life, I just put isle instead of aisle.

This sounds more reasonable, but still, if your FI wants 6, let him have 6. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding with uneven sides, and 2 groomsmen escorted me, which if anything I think made me look like a badass in the photos. I was at a wedding this weekend with uneven sides and the groomsmen walked up with the groom, and all bridal party members filed out after without coupling up. Uneven sides are no big deal.

I find your reactions to be rather obnoxious. Take things less personally.

The only thing she needs to do is show up to your wedding in the dress you picked for her. If you want someone to cater to you more to go dress shopping and to help plan parties in your honor,
I suggest you not ask this woman to be your bridesmaid.

She annoys you enough to ask internet strangers what to do about her. I think that automatically makes her a bad idea for you.
