Real feel of 122 degrees!

I absolutely love the summer but I hope on my wedding day it's not this warm or I will completely melt.
What are the current temps where you are?

Re: Real feel of 122 degrees!

  • 90 with 87% humidity.  Yuck.

  • 93, "feels like" 100. 60% humidity.

I had Motions court yesterday morning so by the time I got to work I had to park on the roof of the parking garage.  When I got to my car, it was too hot to touch the steering wheel.  Ick.

  • Ouch! Nothing like getting in a hot car that has been sitting in the heat all day long. I can't even imagine having leather seats..

  • 19, high of 23 today.  Much nicer than the 28 it was in the house yesterday, since we don't have AC.  But it's supposed to rain again for the next 3 days, continuing to screw over any hope I have of getting my rough grade finished this year

  • Ouch! Nothing like getting in a hot car that has been sitting in the heat all day long. I can't even imagine having leather seats..

Ha yeah I love the look of all the leather in my car, but ouch.  It was like the surface of the sun.
  • 98 feels like 104 with 38% humidity.
  • They are calling for rain here possibly tomorrow and Sunday.

    90 degrees

    63% humidity

Weather.com says it feels like 99, but I think it should be higher than that with 63% humidity.  It's been like walking through a hot mist all week.

    Officially hitched as of 10/25/13

  • 58 deg F, feels like 61.

  • It is hot as satan's nut sack here!

It is 93 but feels like 104 with 54% humidity (which is actually on the low side, thank god!)

I think we are at a code orange air quality level.  My Mom gave me crap the other day for not really running this week (I have a 12 mile race quickly approaching).  I told her that it is hard to breathe and all you have to do is walk outside and you begin to sweat.  I know I need to get some runs in but I am certainly not going to give myself heat stroke for it.

Luckily Sunday is supposed to bring the rain and the heat relief and then we will be back down to our normal (and much more comfortable) 87 degree weather.

  • 94, 45% humidity. Feels like 101. Not HORRIBLE, but not great.
  • In Pennsylvania - 89 degrees with a "RealFeel" of 96

  • @Maggie0829, good luck with the 12 miler! I'm not there yet but one day, until then ill stick to 5ks lol
I can't even imagine running in this heat, that would be like runnin in the oven or at least like the oven when you open it and get the initial blast of heat to the face.

I ran this morning. . . . the weatherman says we are around 92-95, have been all week.  When I went into the city Tuesday a thermometer we passed said 106 and DH's car registered 112 yesterday.  I imagine this is what cookie dough feels like when you put it in the oven.
  • Mmmm.  Cookie dough....

  • I never thought I'd say this but I freakin wish it was 89 degrees out!!
All I know is I can hardly breath when I walk outdoors. Running?... No way! I feel for those without ac.
  • 69 and overcast here in beautiful Seattle WA :D

  • I just checked the weather forecast for next week and they are only calling for it be to 80 degrees on tuesday.  Time to break out the sweaters LOL!

  • 92 degrees, 59% humidity, heat index of 103.

In other words, fuck that. We're staying inside. Even the dog doesn't want to go out.

  • That sounds refreshing, CMGr.

Where's everyone else from? In north central CT, it's 98 - 100 degrees, humidity level 58% (It dropped!). I love summer, but this one has been hot and humid. We're expecting some wicked thunderstorms tomorrow, maybe tonight. After that, temps in the mid 80's.

  • I'm right outside Baltimore, MD @mairepoppy

  • 93 feels like 99

  • Is that cool for a summer day in Houston? I wish they'd put where everyone is from under the screen names. It's one of the things that I miss.

I am in Boston and I am shocked the humidity level is low right now. This morning is was so muggy and gross.

  • My office is very cold. But I am going out soon.

  • I'm in North Dakota. We pay for our "mild" summers with frigid winters that are the definition of cold. This is where cold is made and sent to other places. It is a very very special kind of cold.
  • KeptInStitches - I wouldn't trade trade this hot, humid weather for your cold, frigid winter. I can't take the cold. I whine all winter. You just made me feel better.

  • @jessica41381 I hope it cools down and you have a fabulous wedding day.
