Creative idea for space/venue

Hello all, I am having a very difficult time finding a venue and so I am looking for suggestions. Thing is, we would really like to do offsite catering in order to bring in elements to the wedding that are really personal! So all in all, we are looking for a great space that allows for flexibility and creativity. We are not necessarily set on any specific town, so if you have any ideas of a nice venue/space, please let me know, thank you.

Yes, check out Harkness in Waterford; it's beautiful. The Branford House at Avery Point is amazing as well. Both require you to hire your own caterer.
Another unique place is the Mystic Arts Center. Good luck!

Wickham Park in Manchester. The ceremony is held outdoors and reception is shared between a tented area and log cabin. You bring in all your own vendors. My wedding was there May 2011, pm me if you want pictures.
