Hi everyone,
I'm doing a photo booth for my wedding. I would like to do bookmarks as the favor as both fiance and I having teaching degrees and work for a school district. I'm looking at bookmarks that let guests insert their photo booth strip into them. Any ideas how I could display the empty frame for guests? And also how do I make sure each guest receives one? I plan on having extras (about 50 or so) so people can take more if they would like. I was thinking about making my own insert, that way people that don't do the photo booth still have an insert from the wedding day (such as our names, the date and thanks for celebrating the day with us). Would that be a good idea? I don't want to get bookmarks printed though because I would rather have guests use it for their photo booth strip. The inserts would just be card stock printed from my work printer.
Re: photo booth favor
I think the strips work well alone as favors. I think the bookmark idea is also great. However, if it is a lot of extra work (time, energy, money) I would skip it. I am not sure if I would be more or less likely to use the bookmark insert. But it
Presumably someone will be running the photobooth?
So you coud just have a basket of them near the photobooth. The attendant can encourage guests to take one if they'd like.
I have no purpose for a bookmark (just more clutter for my house!!), so I'd leave mine behind anyways.
You should be thanking your guests in person, so they don't need a trinket that says "Thanks for celebrating".
Did you make an announcement or anything about the photo booth being there? I've never been to a wedding with one, but I think it's a great idea. I just worry about older guests actually using it. Did a lot of the older guests (40+) use it?
This could be a crowd thing. I definitely think my family is a little more uptight and not goofy so I was pleasantly surprised.
I think the vendor managing the booth was helpful. We placed it near gift table and guestbook so it was straight forward.
