Is anyone getting married in March not choosing the 15th because of superstition?

Hahahaha Superstition? I have not heard of any superstition about March 15th! We are getting married on that day and yes it is "The Ides of March" but who cares?!?!?!

My dad said we shouldn't get married on the ides of march. When I asked him why, he said, well, that's the day Ceasar was killed - as though this was like a recent event or something. My response was "Well, it must have made some people happy he was dead, right?"

We were always looking at 3/1 until we had to push it back a week to accommodate a meeting our venue was having.

lol. Funny. That was the day we were going to get married too, but his sister said it was a bad oman ( I'm not superstious at all) but we chose the 16th instead lol.

I am getting married that day! No superstitions here...though just about everyone I know mentions the Ides of March..hmm

A lot of my vendors have said "Ahh, the Ides of March" to which I've asked "Do I get a discount for that?" So far we have!!!
