    I don't get the furor over it and I think the pictures in front of the mirror were weird.  But hey, it's her job to overshare, so okay. 

    Black Twitter exploded with all sorts of crazy over it, some good, some bad.

    I do like the cut, but I wish she'd get rid of the blonde.

    I do agree she and Jay Z are overrated. 

    However,  I enjoy J's music more than hers.  If only one of them could continue making music, I'd vote for it to be him.

    I don't understand the uproar, but I am glad she let it go. I know so many women that have ruined their hair and hairline from excessive weave wearing, and your hair needs a rest from all of that stress.

    I don't think they're overrated.  They're over-exposed, but I don't think that's them pushing it as much as the celebrity and internet culture that follow their every footstep, photo and word.  They know how to work it, but again, that's their job.  But they are both incredible talents who worked really hard to get where they are.

    But I wonder if sometimes they don't sit around talking about how annoying it is to always be "the good ones" and held up as a black power couple and role models for so many stereotypes.  I figure it's why they and the Obamas are close, so they can eyeroll at each other at needed times.

    I'm sure stars miss the days when all they had to do was sing their songs and act in their movies and could have a private life. Those days are over. Not when their money is tied to tweeting and being overexposed leading to more jobs.

    I've never bought a Jay-Z or Beyoncé album before. NEVER. I'll listen on the radio, but have no need to purchase.

    I've bought both.  Bey falls into pop for me and I love some of the remixes they do of her stuff.  I like some of Jay Z's stuff, but sometimes his voice is too much all the same, so I don't tend to listen to a whole album at once, but mix it in with other things.  I realize I'm getting old when I bemoan the lack of new KRS-One albums.

    IIRC, overrated has been applied to the latest by a lot of critics to the newest Jay Z album.  Not every album is going to be The Blueprint.
