::singing::    The kiddo went back to scho-ol, the kiddo went back to scho-ol!

We had an excellent summer, but I'm glad to have my uninterrupted work time back.  :) 

DefConn's cough is also better and we both slept well last night.  No wake-ups at 1 or 2am. 

How's your morning going?

    I slept in 2 hour increments last night.  DD1 kept coming in and saying she had a nightmare.  I don't really drink pop, but I might have to have one this morning.

    I am really enjoying the back-to-school routine we have going right now.  I just sort of winged this summer and didn't realize how much I miss routines.  It feels great.

    Oh, and you have a question waiting for you in kuus's bad advice post.

    I slept entirely too hard, and I skipped getting up this morning.  The only thought that makes it better is that I "get" to run and that I'm only adding 4 to my already planned 4.  Yes, I'm talking about running....AGAIN.

    Last night was pretty good, got in a good bike ride....picked up 3 CDs from the library.  Maybe I'll tell a mini story about that.

    I slept through the night!  It was pretty much glorious. 

    DH is leaving tonight for Indy and will be gone until Sunday night :(  I'm going to eat a lot of cheese while he's gone, but I'm still going to miss him.  Who's going to get up and get me snacks and drinks?  And help my whale ass off the couch? I am looking forward to Cheesecake Factory on Saturday and my massage on Sunday.

    I forgot that GenCon is this weekend.  best.people.watching.ever.

    They're going to have excellent weather, not that any of them will be outside. LOL

    That's also why they moved Devour Downtown (you can eat at high end restaurants for a special price) to late Aug.  They want those GenCon-ers to pay full price for their dinners.  :)

    DH gets a free press badge because he has a podcast.  This year, they're cramming 6 people into a room connected to the convention center, for maximum nerdage.

    I don't think I could stand the smell of the unwashed masses.  Yuck.

    Except for my period, everything is good.  I get to go the the Frida Kahlo show that ends this weekend and I'm pumped, I thought I was going to miss it.  The mornings outside are so lovely right now, it makes me sad to work inside w/no windows I can open.  DH doesn't get back until late Thursday.  I'm really enjoying the time by myself, I think I needed it.

    DS was up several times last night. I need to call the doc because I have a headache that won't quit and my foot swelling is out of control.

    It sounds like a 24 hour pee test is in your future :(

    Mine only got better w/ physical therapy and vicodin.

    Morning has been rough. 

    Yesterday we got news that one of our camp mates killed himself.

    This morning we had our 6 month appointment with DD's neurologist. 

    Trying to navigate medicaid and all that fun stuff.

    Still have to make the appointment to sign the paper work for our wills and DD's SN trust.
