    Okay, I see your point.

    It's sad that I just remember the names of the scandals.  I can't recall details of Elfstergate or what happened on AFB to make Roses and a few other people leave.

    elfstergate was on afsb/ney. someone used the anonymous question feature on elfster to ask a bunch of questions or just say mean things. elfster told one of the people that the questions came from pa or ny or wherever, and then everyone knew who asked the questions.

    btw, i would just like to say that tink pulled the same thing when we were all using elfster, sposati asked elfster about the questions, elfster said, "what mean things?", and then tink backpedalled BIG TIME.

    Oh yeah, Elfstergate wasn't here.  I remembered that much and the questions, just not who they decided was the culprit.  IIRC there was also a slumber party that went horribly wrong and that's when Roses and the others left.

    I just never go to other boards anymore.  Before I at least would glance at about 3 others.

    sorry, i was not clear. 

    at the same time that elfstergate was running around ney, tink claimed that someone sent her a bunch of hurtful emails via elfster. sposati, who ran secret santa that year, emailed elfster and asked who send the emails to tink. 

    elfster responded that no one had sent tink any emails or asked any anonymous questions. sposati was all WTF and called tink out on it.

    tink back pedalled, all "oh, i got my secret santas confused! it was a different exchange i am involved in."

    I just logged into Elfster to see if I could find it.  It doesn't seem to go that far back.  It was something about having babies/pregnancy which was not cool because I had just had a miscarriage.

    There really hasn't been any big blow up scandals since that and ChadnJared left in a jagged fit of drama inspired drunkenness.
