  Hey, I am a January 4th bride! I have done this so far:

  
  

  Sent out save the dates

  Bought my dress/shoes/veil

  Bought BM dresses

  Hired Photographer

  Hired DJ

  Asked Pastor to be our officiant

  Registered for gifts

  Booked venue/caterer

  
  

  Currently working on:

  Picking a florist

  Picking a salon (hair/makeup)

  
  

  I am ahead of schedule, but this fall is my last semester is college, so I am trying to get as much done before then as I can.

  • Hotel block

  In progress:

  • Photographer interviews
  • Smores bar vendor interview
  • Live music for ceremony (I'm asking a friend/former roommate to play the piano for us)

  After the photographer I will move on to the videographer and florists.

  January 4th here!

  I'm lagging behind you guys.

  Done:

  • Bought dress
  • Uncle confirmed he would photograph
  • Emailed save the dates to out of state guests
  • Bought invitaions

  In Progress:

  • Deciding on venue. We have looked at 2 and are looking at 3 this weekend. Hoping to narrow it down to 2 next week and then ask my dad which he would like. Our venue will include reception site. We don't want guests to have to drive in the snow from one site to another.

  * Bridesmaids dresses bought (one still has to order, she is pregnant)
  * Save the Dates Sent
  * Hotel block reserved
  
  In progress:
  * Photobooth...in the process of getting quotes.

  January 4th here: -booked venue -booked church/pastor -complete marriage classes for church -bought wedding dress -bm dresses -sent 1/2 my save the dates -guest list mostly done -dj, photographer, video, limo booked -made appointment with florist -ordered (and received already!!) invitations -photo booth -escort board ordered Whew.... Still feel like I have so much to do though!!

  • Vendor for the S'Mores Bar
  • Photographer
  • Videographer
  • Ceremony Musician (friend agreed to do the ceremony music for us)

  The florist and cake are the only two vendors I have left.

  Well we had to change our date from October to January, so a little of my planning got messed up.

  
  

  We have got our venue booked, got my invitations in the mail today and have most of the addresses of our guests. Have our photographer. Have all the stuff for the bouquets as well. My maid of honor has her dress. I have yet to go dress shopping myself. I' currently 25 weeks pregnant and really want to hold off on dress shopping until I'm no longer pregnant lol. Still need to get veil and accessories and need to order our cake.

  Groom & Groomsmen attire

  Ceremony Musicians

  Cocktail hour music

  to figue out any details with the ceremony...

  To get a hotel block

  choose favors and assemble whatever we choose
