  • Well, they sound a little ignorant of invite etiquette, but at least it sounds like they weren't trying to be intentionally rude.
    Maybe they didn't think they were being rude, but they obviously felt entitled to add on their kids to the RSVP after being told, directly, that their kids weren't invited.

    I get what you're saying, though: that it sounds like they got confused by the RSVP card. But having the father of the bride say to them, "Sorry, no, your kids aren't invited," was pretty clear.

  • Just to clarify:  I'd totally rather eat chicken tenders myself.  I almost always eat off the kids' menu when we go out because I don't have large meals and I hate wasting food.  Plus, Whataburger gives you a cookie...

    Haha, my FH also asked if he could have the chicken fingers and fries when we were doing menu choices. But I told him no, he had to have a "big boy" meal (though I don't know what the venue would think of that anyway...).
