What are you doing for your meet and greet?

We would like to host a meet and greet the night before the wedding. We are expecting around 15 people. Originally I wanted to do a strip tour but we have decided to do it the night of the wedding after the reception. FH and I have never been to Vegas and would like to do something low key but Vegasy. We prefer to not do a big dinner but rather food and something more interactive. So...what are you doing for your meet and greet? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

  • I know someone went to the palms ( I think) and bowled
  • We got the 1bd panorama penthouse sky suite at Aria. It has beautiful views of the strip.

We are doing some light apps and a full bar for like 2 or 3 hours.

We will also get ready here the morning of the wedding.

  • We went back and forth with what we should do for our meet and greet too.  We are going mini-golfing at a Kiss themed mini golf course by the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.  We thought a little friendly competition would be good for making our guests mingle.  We are having our bachelor/bachelorette parties on the Thursday night, the meet and greet on Friday and the wedding on Saturday.  We wanted to do something quick and casual so that our guests can go check out a show or do something on their own if they want.
  • My group is meeting for happy hour at El Segundo Sol ($5 margaritas? I'm in!) then heading to see "LOVE" by Cirque du Soleil. Group tickets are 25% off.

Not everyone is coming, so we wanted to keep it informal & easy to plan.
  • My meet and greet plans have changed so much! Originally I was going to have our bachelor / bachelorette party on Saturday then meet n greet Sunday (wedding on Monday). Now we have decided to host a welcome dinner and drinks on the Saturday night BEFORE the bachelor / bachelorette so that guests are free to make their own plans for Sunday.

We will be picking a restaurant after we have RSVPs so we know how many guests will be in town on the Saturday night. At the moment im considering the patio at PBR as we have guests staying at Elara/Planet Hollywood but I will put together a "short list" of suitable restaurants on my scouting trip.

  • Fiance and I have decided we are meeting for dinner at Margaritaville,  they have drink specials i believe and their Nachos are to die for.....and then from there we are doing the DDB tour for 2 hours :)

  • We are also hosting a meet and greet the night before the wedding in our suite at aria. It will be a 2-3 hour open house type event, We will have some liquor for people to have a drink, but no food. I think we will have an informal early dinner with the parents prior to the meet and greet. :)

  • These are all great ideas! We are doing an In Suite reception with a party bus to follow on Saturday so we will probably skip hosting in the room again. We are definitely going to see Love while we are there but I think it will be just the two of us. Maybe we can host a different cirque show though.

  • Happy Hour in our Panorama Suite at the PH from 4-6. DDB tour of the strip from 9-11. Giving people some free time to do what they want in Vegas rather than schedule them non-stop.

  • Mix Lounge or Foundation Room at Mandalay for happy hour would be cool.  Or maybe take a group trip down to Fremont St (downtown).

  • I really want to take people on the High Roller wheel at Linq for our meet and greet but that all depends on it being open in time! I'm liking the idea of the Kiss mini golf as an alternative if not though!

  • @Jiimanie I will be sure to write a review and let you know how it works out! They have different options where you can rent a VIP room or include arcade game vouchers. We decided just to go with golfing which is only $8 per person. I am hoping everybody will have fun with it!

If you get more than 12 people, you can usually get a group discount. For love it's 25% off plus no $10 activation fee.
  • Thanks @J9lawrence ! When is your wedding? I will definitely be keeping a keen eye out for your reviews :)
