Where can you get a wedding dress with a month left before the wedding?

I bought a wedding dress months ago and long story short, there was a fire in my parent's home and my dress was damaged.

Where can I find a dress with only a month left before the wedding?

Does David's Bridal sell dresses off of the rack?

    I bought mine at DB off the rack, as did 2 of my six bridesmaids.

    I'm sorry that happened to you!

    I would check up higher end department stores. Not quite the season, but you can get nice formal dresses in white. I know that Target has a line of wedding dresses. I don't know where you are but in my area there are a few stores called Jessica McClintock and all they sell are formal dresses.

    It would be at least worth a call to Davids to see if they sell off the rack. I have no idea if they do.

    Lots of bridal stores sell off the rack, but they'll have a smaller selection than DB since they'll only have 1 or 2 sizes of each dress in stock, whereas DB probably has 5 or 6. Depending on what size you wear, this could still be an option - if there are any other stores you want to go to, I'd call ahead and see what their sample size is. Then you just need to find something that won't need a lot of alterations to fit. I'd still go with DB, though, since at 4 weeks out you probably don't want to spend forever running from store to store to try on 1 or 2 at each when you could probably try on 20 at DB and walk out with any one of them.

    Call your local bridal boutique and she if they sell their samples. I bought a sample Sottero off the rack for a little over 400 (originally 1200).

    most stores sell off the rack. You just have to be able to find something in your size.

    Sorry about your dress! J. Crew's wedding dresses are all ready to ship out now. You'll get them in about a week. Same with Ann Taylor. And if you don't have a nice department store in your area, Nordstrom's website has tons of dresses and you can search by color.

    As others have said, a lot of bridal salons will sell you the sample (especially if you explain the circumstances) off the rack.  Call around and see if anyone has samples in your size. There is also a chance they may be able to order a new one from the manufacturer if you pay the rush charge (though it is a long shot). Sorry to hear about what happened and good luck in finding a dress.

    Lord & Taylor, as well as some other department stores have a wedding dress section off the rack. You can also search for second hand/donation bridal salons in your area, in addition to worn garments, they also carry never worn gowns that were either donated from other salons, or from brides that changed their minds, etc.
