Solo guitarist vs. String ensemble

Is it less expensive to use a solo guitarist for the ceremony versus a string ensemble? What are the pros and cons to both? My fiance and I like both styles, but it really comes down to price. Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

    If it comes down to price then the guitarist is the obvious choice. You can't go wrong with either. My preference would be the guitarist anyhow though.

    I would think that a string trio/quartet/whatever would be more expensive because you have more musicians.  So, if your only deciding factor is cost, go with the guitarist.
