so i got my ring a few years ago back in 2011 my fi had bought me this ring but the style of the ring and the insert it came with could not be sized up to my size 10 fingers according to the sales lady. so we had to return it, we selected another ring that i got to pick out. its a square cut princess halo style and when i saw it and tried it on i knew it was my ring, ring was a 6 1/2 and the sales lady assured me that this style ring could be sized up to your size 10 no problem. i get the ring in the shine it up a bit i take it home no problems at all with it fits great. i get regular cleanings and inspections and the last time i went they said ring was fine..
i took it off the other day because i was working with chocolate and i did not want to get the ring all dirty. and i noticed on the band part that there was this scratch like thingy, i felt it and i am thinking omg my ring is going to fall apart. when we bought the ring i asked them since the ring is so small to start with will they add enough white gold to it so that the band is not thin?. because of the huge size difference, the sales person said its not a problem.
well i went sat night to the store, and the sales guy was like your ring needs to be re rodhumed (sp) and then i told him about the scratch. they are sending it out.. i had heard bad things about beldens before and i told my fi i would rather go to a local jeweler because you can get a really good ring and a good price. i said these chains are mass producing rings and they dont even know what grade the diamonds are. but of course my fi like everyone else said to him go to the mall they have good rings..
now my finger feels naked without my ring
