Pancake Morning :-)

This morning I woke up next to my BF. Sleepovers don't happen often lately, so it is a real treat :-) Then I messed around with the guys (BF's roommates) for a bit before coming home and making pancakes (used powdered milk... don't taste very good). I also made syrup because I realized mine was gone (turned out too good!). So far, a very good morning! Although no one at work would trade shifts with me so that I could go to the game today :-( But, I still don't have to go in to work until 5pm :-) I will spend that extra time studying for my exam that is due tomorrow night.

How was your morning?

Re: Pancake Morning :-)

  • Mmmmm pancakes. Sounds like a very relaxing morning!

I got up at ass o'clock to get to work by 7. I've been working and studying at the slow parts. It's been a productive day, but now the co-workers and I are goofing off after lunch.
  • I've been knitting all morning. I'm about a third of the way done with a Doctor Who scarf, so that's been pretty good for 2 evenings and a morning.
  • BF and I are having a lazy start to the day. I let BF sleep in this morning while I read my book so we are really just getting started moving and getting ready (and it's almost 12:30). We are thinking we'll go to a corn maze tonight but no big plans for the afternoon.

  • That sounds like a wonderful morning.  BF is off doing something and I'm just being lazy here on the couch.  I think we have to go to Target for some necessities, but that's about all on my agenda today.

  • I did not get a chance to hop back online today after posting, but I am glad to hear that everyone had a good day planned! hopefully everything went smoothly!

@KeptInStitches, I hope your scarf turns out! You should post pictures when you are done :-)

@bethsmiles, how was the corn maze?
  • @psychbabe314 - It was so much fun! We didn't do a haunted one (I've had some bad experiences) but I really enjoyed getting to spend a couple hours wandering around with BF.

  • @bethsmiles, BF and I were discussing going to a haunted one with some friends. But, we may go to the aquarium instead since it has been so cold at night here. But, my mom asked me to take my younger siblings to a haunted house, so that might be on my to-do-list instead
  • @psychbabe314 - I've found that corn mazes are a lot more fun when they aren't haunted. IMO, if you want to be scared - do a haunted house instead.

  • I can't imagine anything that would NOT be more fun haunted. :) I love haunted stuff, but alas, I think I'm getting too old and tired and cranky to participate anymore.
  • We'll see about photos. Eventually I'm just going to have to make some sort of huge AW post for the knitting. I don't know how well the scarf will photo since it's going to be about 16 feet long.
  • @keptinstitches is it the 4th doctor's scarf?

  • I love scary things! But, just a nice walk through a maze would be nice too :-)

@shiroyasha, it's the 4th Doctor's scarf - but the one from Season 15. I used this website to develop the pattern, and Tara's definitely going to be my go-to to if I ever do another one of these.
