    The Avett Bros are going to be here soon.  I'm considering buying tickets, but they're kind of expensive. And while I like their stuff in general, they have a few songs that I outright skip b/c they're annoying.  So $40 per head for a group I skip stuff on doesn't seem like the best idea.

    I'm listening to my '90s list right now and Waterfalls is on.

    I'm rethinking in my head and Aerosmith, U2, Elton John and NIN were only $10-$20 more per ticket, in various sized venues for really great seats, so $40 per head seems high to me for a mid-level band that isn't super famous and probably doesn't have a big overhead for their concerts.  I'm assuming a folksy style band isn't rocking an amazing light show or big screens.

    I will state that I suspect the price is higher b/c of the venue they're in.

    What is the venue though?  If it's HUGE then it wouldn't be terribly great.

    Just reminds me of paying $80 for Maroon 5 and Neon Trees just this past March.

    Same venue is hosting the Eagles at like $190-260/ticket

    You know, you can think $40 is cheap and I can think it's expensive for the Avett Brothers and we don't have to agree.  It's not me judging you, it's just not sharing an opinion.

    Honestly, the Eagles charge outrageous prices for their show.  Just b/c they can.  They haven't put out new music in how many decades now?  And how long have they been "reunited"?  C'mon guys, let it go.

    The new Cults album which is pretty great.  I love their first one, too.

    @ReturnofKuus -YES.  The Cults are very good.  Every time I hear something and star it...it seems The Cults are high up there.
