    We spent around $20k.  Not including flights, hotels, dress.  I agree with PromDates, I refused to skimp on food and booze.  It would've been a little bit less, but we chose to extend the reception time an extra hour.  They were really great about it and didn't charge us the extra money for the venue, but we had to pay the DJ for the extra hour and pay to keep the bar open an extra hour. It was worth it.
