How do I address my father

My dad is a judge. He's also a Colonel in the Army. I can't just address the envelope as Colonel Honorable Mark Martin. That would sound tacky. On the other hand, I feel it would be disrespectful to call him Mister...so....any thoughts?

Can you just ask him what title he uses in a formal setting? I'd probably commit to either the Col. title or the honorable title. Mushing them doesn't seem appropriate.

If it were my father, I'd just ask him what he prefers if I didn't know already.

Since it's your father, I would just ask. But if I had to guess, I would use the military title.

Ask him. And if you don't feel comfortable asking him then ask your Mom or your Dad's significant other if your parents are no longer together.
