Beaded Trim & Sash - Where to buy?

I am getting beaded trim and a beaded sash sewn onto my wedding dress. Unfortunately, the store where I got the dress will charge me $300 just for the sash itself. Does anyone know of a place where I can buy the sash for cheaper and get matching beaded trim? I don't even know where to begin for the trim and $300 seems a little nuts.

Bridal sashes are stupidly expensive, especially if they are from a dress designer, so $300 for a belt that goes the entire way around the dress is not that far out of place. The top piece will be similar. However, you can buy the ribbon yourself and have them add them to the dress.

Honestly, I would try craft and fabric stores--you can get every color of ribbon and bead type imaginable. And if you want something really custom, ask around for local beadwork artists or check around Etsy.
