I fell in love with these the minute I saw them. My dress is ivory and jewelry is silver, so I got these shoes in silver also. They seem pretty comfortable for now and are so pretty in person!

Those look awesome.  Then again, I'm super biased.  I love all things Kate Spade.
Don't worry guys, I have the Wedding Police AND the Whambulance on speed dial!

I was just randomly visiting TK boards and I have to say I enjoy all your shoes :-)

I think I am going to have a hard time finding a single pair to choose to wear. . . so many cute options.

Ok, I better jump outta here now before the bouncers escort me out. . . I'm not sure if I'm having a luxury wedding!

Post some of them! I love shoes. We can put it to a vote if you'd like!

Ok, let me narrow my choices down a bit, and then I will post. .. you will need a pic of the dress to to make an informed decision ;-)

I have quite a while yet before I have to finalize my shoe plans.

  • I am wearing Daffodile Christian Louboutins covered in hand placed swarovski crystals

Did you put the stones on them yourself or did you buy the already blinged out out

I bought them already blinged out, I should have read the description more carefully lol I certainly didn't place all the swarovski crystals on there..too much work~!

Yes! Louboutins are THE wedding shoe! Jimmy Choo (try Lance), or any Valentino or Manolo Blahnik. I am already 5'8" barefoot, so I went with the daintier "Cinderella" shoe and added "shoe talk" to personalize them :-). Now, if only I could wear them again! I feel like no occasions worthy!
  • I'm ordering a custom pair of wedges from Milk and Honey! So excited...

  • Love them! I will be wearing Louboutin strass Very Prives - they're a peep toe with a little platform. I'm having them done in Swarovski volcano - it's a dark purple-ish stone that changes with the light.

I'm so excited! I don't have them yet - I'll post pics when they arrive!

I agree! I love Louboutin the red sole just gives them that pop in the pictures, "ain't no high heel high enought"

I am 150% A-Ok with spending more money on my shoes than my dress, hair, and makeup combined! Our wedding will be Luxury-no details spared I want our guests to feel pampered and that we are hosting them, (I am even going to decorate the bathroom, it's the little things people remember). We haven't finalized the location but are thinking a winter Canadian Rockies destination (not that big of a trip since we are Canadian) wedding.

  • I bought these in silver leather (I was originally going to do the white fabric, but realized they would get filthy in an instant walking in NYC streets for pictures before the ceremony):

They are a super comfy 2.5" heel.  Enough of a heel that I feel like I'm dressed up but not so high that my feet and legs will be aching or will make me taller than my fiance.

Ladies who are still looking should check out this brand.  They are high quality, leather soles, made in Italy, and less pricey than JCs or the like.  They also have a bridal-specific line called Something Bleu.
  • I am having such a hard time picking out shoes. My dress is ivory and I'm wearing gold jewelry so I was looking for a gold shoe. I'm looking for a smaller heel and it seems to be tough. I found a pair of Kate Spades I think I like, but I don't know.

What kind of shoes are you girls wearing/did you wear?

I am wearing blue Kate Spade shoes. I really like Kate Spade, so it suits my personality.

Those are the ones I landed on. I am more of a "classic / conservative" person in dress and taste, not a fan of any beading/bling/etc because it just isn't my personality so I had a really really hard time finding shoes.

  • Mbrooke - I had the same problem with all the "blingy" shoes! I had such a hard time finding something on the simple side. I am going with Kate Spade Madison and love them. Hope I feel the same after wearing them all night :)
  • @BulgariHeart

Do you have pics of your shoes?  Where did you get them made?

  • Hi :) I got them made in Italy, not very helpful, sorry! I also got the dress there but where I bought it they didn't have a good enough selection of shoes. I don't have a picture handy right now but I can paste an image of the dress' bodice, the flowers and pearls and whatnot are the same on the shoes, which are otherwise simple and covered of ivory silk.
  • I love shoes! I don't wear heels though because they make me taller than my fiancé. I'll be wearing a custom pair of Converse sneakers :)

Love all of your shoes, they're so pretty!

  • For comfort, you can't beat the Cole Haan Air line.  I'm not wearing them for the wedding, but own several pairs for work.  There are new styles each season, although it's a matter of taste whether they're fancy enough for a bride.
