All I could think after reading the title was "...with Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey!" Then I got giggley.
My weekend was busy but good. Baby shower for FSIL, birthday thing for FMIL, baking, went out with the ladies to see a friend's wedding dress...busy busy

I didn't do much of anything. Friday night - late went out for a couple of drinks. Drove home in the beginning of the snowstorm. Saturday - snowstorm all day. Boo on that. Made a brief Target run, and that was it. Sunday - Went to a friends jewelry party. Bought a hat. Had friends over for an impromtu dinner. Wish I had been given more notice. DH thought it would be a good idea to plan this while I was at said jewelry party, then kept asking me when I was coming home to make dinner.
Well BF and I did not go look at phones We decided that we are going to wait until after Christmas. (So that means BF will probably be getting me the phone for Christmas lol. ) We just hung around.
Saturday was the Spa Party. It was AWFUL! We wrote a complaint email to the company the next morning and are waiting to hear back and hopefully get refunded. The guy who was giving massages was creepy looking, nice but had the face of a serial killer. The woman who did both mani-pedis was awful. She looked like she rolled out of bed to get there and didn't bother to change out of her sweats! She also gave the most half-assed mani-pedi ever! No soaking, not massaging our feet, no cutting of the nails or cuticles. Uhh, I'm really hoping they refund us because it was a TON of wasted money.
Sunday I went shopping with my mom to get work clothes. Got some great deals at JCP. Then we went back home and I snuggled and watched football. Next weekend looks like it is going to be a lot better.
That sucks about the crappy spa people. When you were saying spa party I was thinking it was one of those at home sales parties that sells spa items. Hopefully the company gets back to you guys and offers something to make it better.
Yeah, we got it through a third party website. That website, that was advertising the party has gotten back and said they let their supervisors know and are figuring out what to do for us, and will get back to us in 24-48 hours. The company itself, hasn't respond back yet as far as I know.
We went to a USMC reception on Friday - BF got invited on Thursday, and found out mid-day on Friday that I could go, too. So I spent my lunch break racing to the store to find a suitable dress (cocktail/formal), then got out of work an hour early and raced home to get ready. I had less than 30 minutes to buy a dress, and another 30 minutes to get ready. Phew! The man better be grateful I can look THAT good in THAT little time!
The reception was fantastic, though. It was on the new Royal Carribbean cruise ship, the Allure of the Seas, which is BEAUTIFUL! We had sushi and cake pops and amazing bruchetta. The food was incredible, and BF got to hob-knob with some of the most important people in the USMC. It was a celebration in honor of commissioning a new USMC/Navy ship, so the Commandant of the USMC was there. Very big deal! It was my first military event, so I was a little nervous. It went well, though! I met a General from the Colombian Army who was there at the invitation of the Commandant, and he and his wife were a little isolated as they didn't speak English, so I introduced myself and had a nice chat. I mentioned that I'd be going to Cartagena for work in a few months, and he asked if I was bringing my husband - I said that he was my boyfriend, and that I hoped he could come with me. And the General said, "If you go to the romantic old city of Cartagena, he will no longer be just your boyfriend." Haha!
My weekend was good. Did a ton of catch up on chores. My parents came to visit and brought me a snowblower. I'm pretty excited about that one actually. Then we totally decimated my landscaping and pulled practically everything out. BTW it was a jungle this summer and it was pretty embarassing.
Even though it was a ton of work, we had two really ncie dinners with my parents. Plus BF and my dad did some bonding, i think.

I went shopping with a friend I haven't seen in a while and got myself some VS panties that were on sale (7 for $25!) that I can have when I reach my first weight loss goal.
Then I cooked my meals for the upcoming week and played some video games after I did homework. All in all a pretty low key weekend.

Ditto. I want one but with a gravel driveway I don't think it would end well.
Purple - We have a gravel driveway too, so we are going to have to be careful. Growing up my parents snowblower (attached to a tractor) didn't seem to throw gravel really. I think when the ground is really frozen it changes things.
Dammit Hazel, I need one of those, too! I know we're gonna get hit with snow soon. I am not pleased. Lol. Everyone sounds like they had awesome weekend (for the most part).
@ Heather - was it is Premier Jewelry? If it wasn't then it doesn't count.
@ CD - Your BF will getchu on that phone plan girl! He'z gunna make that paper rain. :-) Also, I'm sorry about your spa party it sounded like it was going to be awesome. I hope you guys get a refund.
@ Cate - That sounds amazing. I often wondered how getting married on a cruise ship would be. Apparently it would be awesome
@PPE - Congrats on working towards your weight loss goal! Nothing like cute underwear for motivation.
My weekend was primarily uneventful but I was happy for that. We relaxed a lot and did a little shopping but that's it. I'm lame, I don't care. lol.
I feel like I could get use out of a snowblower. I live in an association, pay association dues, but yet end up having to shovel my own sidewalk and driveway because the snow removal people are so slow. Our association fee is an absolute joke. We pay them all this money each month, but yet we don't get jack in return. The grass is (was) mowed weekly but thats it. No community ammenities at all whatsoever. It snowed starting on Friday night. Yesterday everything was melting, I now hear them outside shoveling. Really, I think its a little late for your half-a$$ed attempt. Our driveway wasn't plowed until 1030-1100 on saturday night. I had it shoveled long before that. They didn't even plow the main streets through here until 3:00 in the afternoon. Grr. Sorry for my rant, they drive me crazy. They can't remove the snow, but if you're parked on the street for longer than 5 minutes they have a tow truck showing up to haul your car away.
Friday - BF surprised me with a clean apt, wine when I got home, music and candles. I thought he was only making me dinner!
Saturday was a lazy day with an impromptu tour of the couty and were houses were for sale haha. Went to a co worker's house for a party, had fun.
Sunday was great. Went grocery shopping, cleaned out bf's apt kitchen. trashed a lot, brought a box over to OUR apt and took a box to goodwill. Some drama with his ex that I hope he takes care of today (ie she won't let him see his kids for Christmas). We also watched HP: Chamber of Secrets. BF only has 4 more movies to watch and we can see the NEW MOVIE!
All my plans fell through this weekend. BF was sick, and my friends ended up cancelling on Friday. So I tagged along with my uncle to his friend's house and tried my hand at roleplaying for the first time. It was interesting (and I'm lame because I want to do it again!)

Alright, I guess that counts. I did love your headpiece.
My weekend was OK. Went out with the girls on Saturday night. There were male strippers. I left it early cuz it was gross and they weren't hot anyway. Well except for one. But still. Other than that I did nothing. Next weekend is what I'm truly looking forward to. My man will be here on Saturday!!!!
My weekend went much better than expected. My grandma stopped with her comments. My boyfriend's little soccer team played the best they ever have, although they tied 2-2, it put him in a great mood. Tailgating, football game, and 6th street afterwards was a blast. Then a relaxing sunday watching football and getting some home-made christmas gifts done that I was worrying about.
I wish I had the need for a snowblower! It never snows here
I had an amazing weekend walking every inch of my old college campus with BF. He had the ring with him the. entire. time. I caught glimpses of that little blue box several times. (Loopy, as hard as I tried, I couldn't force myself to believe it was just his keys). Still NEY though... grrr...

I don't want to make this worse or anything, but your BF is killing ME here.
Oh, probably kill you too :P
But it wasn't a ring! It was the keys to your new..... pony!
Schiano - yeah, it fell out of his bag when he was putting his stuff in the car. He quickly grabbed it and stuffed it out of sight. I saw it again when he was getting his clothes out at the hotel. I wonder if maybe he knew that I saw it and that's why he punked out?
LOL @ Bren! Pony, ring, whatever it is, I don't care at this point. I just want to be able to tell our parents and friends that we're engaged. Is that so much to ask?
My weekend was surprisingly OK. It was my birthday yesterday, so we spent Friday evening getting the apartment clean (then relaxing) for company on Saturday. Saturday we ran all of our errands before our friends came over at 7. We went to a comedy show, and a good time was had by all. Sunday, although I was feeling crappy (not from being hungover, just other crappy things) we eventually got ourselves together and went to my parents for my birthday dinner. BF was so good to me this weekend overall. He planned the party with friends, and was really supportive when I wasn't feeling well.
And...we have a snowblower. But no driveway to snow blow. My parents gave it to us last year because they no longer need it, but it's just in storage until we have a house.
The condo company is really slow getting our parking lot cleaned out too, Loopy (but it's a whole parking lot, so we can't exactly shovel it ourselves). They're generally fairly useless and we have absolutely no amenities in our complex, but because we're just renters there, it doesn't bother me quite so much (I'm not the one paying the fees).
