I had my first fitting last night and it was perfect=)
All i need are cups and a bustle...i hadnt seen my dress since March when it first came in and just tried it on to see where it was fit wise. The shoes i bought are just the right height and im super excited!
I can def tell personally the gym has been paying off, back in March they were only able to do the corset and not button it and last night they could buttong and make it tighter bc as i was walking im like hello the dress is falling down and walking away from me...
I was a little upset they couldnt do the side bustle which is how i originally saw the dress and tried it on last August but the seamstress is like it prob was not a bustle it was just tied up like that so when people tried it on they didnt step on it....she tried doing it and there was too much material that made it heavy and i thought i would topple over!
Here are a couple of pics...dont mind the poses/faces, etc it was late, and i was hot!

I dont have to go back until 9/27, she wants me to try it on with the bustle and cups and then she will steam my dress and veil and ill pick it up right before the wedding=)
Alterations altogether are $220 which includes the cups, bustle and steaming it.
Of course the seamstress was Italian so her and my were chatting it up the whole time in Italian...oh and my mom's dress came and in and is beautiful, no pics though=(

[QUOTE]Very beautiful dress. My MOH wore that dress in her wedding and she was able to get a side swept bustle. If it's something that you really want, it is possible.

<div>Yeah, I'd push for it if I were you. I'm wearing Eve by Maggie Sottero and it has the same bottom of Adorae, and I won't settle for anything else but the side swept bustle. It looks so beautiful that way! Good luck!</div>

Yeah i just emailed the person I was dealing with in the first place and sent her pics of me in the dress last August from when I first tried it on with the side swept bustle and then last night and she understand what i am talking about...she is going to talk to the seamstress today and get back to me, she said i can come back in and we can go over it=)
When i left i was realy discouraged bc its what i wanted but my sister came with her 2 year old (idk why) and he was screaming and i was getting frustrated i just let it go!
Thanks for giving me the "push" lol over the internet!

<div>I'd be pretty frustrated too with all that going on in the background. Glad I could help you out :) In the end, I'm sure you will get just what you wanted.</div>
