Okay ladies, I've been reading through the suggestions for processional songs here. It seems there are great songs for offbeat brides, and country brides, the rockstar brides, the brides who prefer the oldies...etc. But, I want a relatively current, but very meaningful song. Preferably, if I'm being honest here, I would like there to be not one single dry eye in the group! Okay, maybe that's pushing it, but I do want something moving and sentimental, not something funny or quirky. I like songs like "A Thousand Years", "The Prayer" (Josh Groban/Celine Dion), "To Make You Feel My Love", "Marry Me" (Train)...etc. Just looking for more suggestions.
Re: Bride Processional Selections... Something meaningful!
No, they don't need to be the same style. Any good dj/venue should be able to blend them together at just the right times. I am having a mix of instrumental, modern pop and country for mine. The venue has mixed them perfectly!
I think I must be dreaming
That you are here with me
Must have died and gone to heaven
And it's all that I hoped it would be
[chorus]
When the eagles forget how to fly
When it's twenty below in July
And when violets turn red
And roses turn blue
I'll be still in love with you
[verse]
I live to be around you
You take my breath away
Can't help but talk about you
Every night and day
[chorus]
When eagles forget how to fly
And it's twenty below in July
And when violets turn red
And roses turn blue
I'll be still in love with you
[bridge]
All I need is you
Need you just to hold me, console me
Over and over.......I love you
[chorus]
When the eagles forget how to fly
And it's twenty below in July
And when violets turn red
And roses turn blue
I'll be still in love with you
Still in love with you
