@minskat30 DH is a marine biologist and his lab has a collaborator that works at a facility on the Mediterranean. He's staying on the campus and collecting samples for the first few days and then processing/doing data analysis for the rest of the time. I was just in San Diego for work, so I couldn't get more time off

@severmilli12 Happy Early Birthday! 26 isn't so bad. Sometimes I forget I'm even 26. The only thing that changed for me was I finally picked up my own health insurance and got off of my parent's insurance. It's weird to think that I'll be 27 next year and BF will be 28 though...it makes 30 seem really really close. I'm not scared of being 30...but it's just kind of like wow...I'll be almost 30.

I was really nervous about turning 30, but it wasn't bad. 31 was like "OMG I'm IN my 30s." Now, I'm fine. I'll be 33 in April, and I'm absolutely fine with it.
