Oh wow that looks so good. I love mashed potatoes even though the lactose intolerance thing kind of kills the joy of it some.

One of my food requests for the wedding is a mashed potato bar, so we have regular and sweet mashed potatoes as part of the cocktail hour I'm so excited for that.

Won't lie, we still have a gallon bag of my mom's famous mash potatoes and sauerkraut mixture in the freezer from Thanksgiving. Might use them for this.

We always have leftover mashed potatoes, because I usually mash about five pounds of new, red-skin potatoes -- for just me and DH! -- every time we have mashed potatoes, so then we have leftovers for a day or so.
