Me and my fiance love the date but are afraid of conflict with it being on a weekday. Do anyone have advice on what time would be a good time to start? Thanks in advance.

Well, if the majority of your guests get off at 5, then I'd look at starting the ceremony at 7. That gives them time to get home, get changed, and get to your wedding.

Since that is sort of late, and your guests will have to be at work the next morning, I'd have an hours de'ouvers (is that spelled right?) reception. It'll move quicker and time won't be wasted waiting on the service.

My Fiancee and I having been together for the past 12 years, are also planning on 12.12.12 @12 (Lunch time) it just makes perfect sence to us.

My fiance and I are getting married as well on 12.12.12.at 12 This is both our lucky numbers !! He play pro baseball and wore this number ! The number has been very important to us , this is just perfect .

I am also thinking about getting married 12-12-12. It is also my parents anniversary which is important to me. However, I'm thinking about having a small intimate ceremony that night and then having a huge party that weekend for everyone. Any opinions on that? Thanks!

We decided that with people we were inviting we assume that they will be able to get a half day of work/school in before having to get ready to attend the wedding. Hi am getting marrie on 12/12/12 the mass @ 12 noon n idk of I should have a reception or not becuz it's a week day.. What do you'll suggest? N if I do I wanted to have it around 3.. It's so funny but one night I got up in the middle of the night actually at 3am n something inside of me was telling me to get marry on this day n somet about 3 so I kind a put thing together n figure out that 12 + 12 + 12 + 12 = 12 which 1+ 2= 3 crazy right!!.. So am gettin marrie on this day.. N also cuz it's glthe Guadalupe virgin bday n I love her..

Still trying to figure out the timing (I would've loved to do it at 12:12), but most likely, we're going to do a 7:00p or 7:30p ceremony and sit down dinner reception. We're not party people and we're not doing an open bar so we probably won't keep our locals out too late. There may be some dancing, but probably not 4-5 hours worth. We may do a 12:12 luncheon for the OOTs. My biggest issue, other than the obvious inconvenience of having a wedding on a Wednesday with both families coming from OOT, is that in Atlanta, most churches have bible study on Wednesdays, so I'm having a really hard time finding a church.

Sounds like a poerfect plan. COme have an adventure in Ocean City, MD - at Seacrets, Jamaica as we have a wedding and vow renewal celebration and reception. Cermony at 12:12 p.m. party and dance all day !

We are doing a ceremony on 12/12/12 with ourselves, parents and children at our house. Then we are having the reception on saturday 12/15. We too wanted the really cool date! 7 days! So exicted!
