He picked it out completely, and it's perfect. It's a custom ring, they didn't have any in the jewelry shop like this and he had to ask them for help and apparently spent hours in there! I love my ring and think its perfect!

Everyone has really gorgeous rings! And they're all so unique.

Mine is a lavender hued asscher cut sapphire with a double halo. It's rose gold so that the purple hue of the sapphire comes out more. The color never photographs well but it's a really pretty pale purple.

I wanted purple and sparkle so he did an awesome job making that happen :-)

The Center stone is a 1.25carat asscher and the ring is about 3 carats all together in 18k.

I'm weird, I have a sapphire. A little less than 2 ct, with 3/4 ct of diamonds on the halo and pave band. Pave wedding band matches; can't wait to wear it.

@16maybeless Not weird at all! A friend of ours has a similar ring with a round black diamond as the center stone and round halo -- it's really pretty!
