  Go to Alfred Angelo. They're everywhere and go up to 24. If it's important to you that they be coordinated, then let each choose her own style while keeping them both in the same color and fabric. I think it would be unlikely one style can flatter both girls.

  Yes, it would definitely be easier. You would not have to try to find a dress that looks good on two very different body types. I would say just let them get different dresses in the same color.
  
  Personally, I think all the same dresses only looks good if the bridesmaids are all a similar shape and size.

  My WP consists of my 40 year old sister and my 13 year old niece. I had it in my head that the WP should wear the same dress but once they started trying stuff on it was obvious that the dresses that were appropriate for my niece looked ridiculous on my sister and vice versa. SO we decided to do different dresses but in the same color and material. They look amazing together. 

  
  

   So i guess what I'M trying to say is that what looks good one one person might not look good on another because of age, size, body type, etc. You want your girls to be comfortable in their dresses so I completely support doing same color, different style.

  I was hoping to stay away from David's and Alfred because I think they suck. Have had poor customer service from both and I'd rather they have something from like Macy's which looks normal enough to wear again. But that kind of makes it impossible to get the same color & fabric. So I may have to go to one of these shops.

  jasmine, morilee, jordan, and all of the famous bridal designers almost all of them offer a bridesmaid line up to a size 24 26 or 30. we got jasmine dresses for my maids by belose they go up to a 30 but the biggest size we need was a 10

  i personally like the look of different, coordinating dresses.   of my bridesmaids they are def all diff body styles and personalities (and an age gap) so I have told them to select their own. they just wouldn't look right or all be comfy in the same dress.

  Would you ever consider black?  My daughter had her BM's select black dresses.  If you had a different color in mind, you could always use that color as an accent and use it in their flowers, perhaps a sash, their shoes, a shoe clip (if they both have black shoes), or a necklace.

  @mobkaz thanks black is not a bad idea at all and there are plenty of those at department stores.

  Without sounding completely schmaltzy, letting your BM's wear dresses that suit THEM, and make them feel comfortable and pretty, will create nicer pictures than any uniform dress.  It's thoughtful of you to consider your friends and their feelings over any bridal "vision".  I sure wish that would be a trend more people "pinned".  

  
  

  As I said earlier, my daughter had her BM's select any LBD.   Her BM's varied in height from 5'0" to 6'0", and dress sizes from 4 to 20.    Originally, she had hoped they would all steer toward the same fabric.  One BM had a very difficult time finding a dress in which she felt comfortable.  She finally found one that she loved, but it was in a completely different fabric.  I can tell you that it did not matter one bit in terms of pictures or bridal "look".  But it did make a world of difference as friends.
