Yesterday, DD was in a horrible mood. Didn't want to sleep all day so she fussed/screamed at us. Finally at like 7 pm, she just gave up and slept. She was good at night, woke up every 3-4 hours. DS woke up several times complaining of a sore throat though. And I got up with him each time naturally. The dogs had to get up as well. And of course, it was me. DH is sleeping in one of the guest rooms so at least one of us is getting some sleep so he didn't hear DD, DS, or the dogs.
I said screw it to sleep and got up at 6:30 to take DS to daycare. He cried the whole way there because he wanted daddy to bring him. Thanks.
DD spent a good chunk of the morning crying because she has developed a diaper rash and every time she poops she's in pain. And she poops all the damn time.
Despite this, I figured I would go shopping. I go back to work next week so I thought I'd do something I enjoy. I finally get ready and get out of the house. Except the garage door didn't go all the way up, I didn't realize it, and it clipped the top of my car. It broke a piece off but when I looked at it I thought it had just scraped the top. Nope- got going down the road and the piece flew off. So now my car is screwed up.
We're two days in. I just want a fucking break.
